MISSIONS
HFCN MISSIONS
As we set our focus on being the hands and feet of Jesus to people in need in our own community, and across the globe, HFCN desires to be a missions minded church! Opportunities are available to serve in our missions effort year round. It is our belief that Missions isn’t just oversees, but begins with the neighbors right next door.

THE GOOD NEWS
AND THE SIX STEPS OF SALVATION
-
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:10, 23)
Sin separates man from God and leads to death. (James 1:15; Romans 8:6, 7)
-
God the Father; because of His love for us, sent His son Jesus to save us from the power of sin (John 3:16, 1 Peter 2:24). God forgave sin through Jesus’ blood by His grace and through faith (Ephesians 1:7; 2:7, 8)
-
Our sin nature is buried with Christ and we are made alive to God in the resurrection of a new creation in Christ Jesus. (Acts 2:38, 39; Romans 6;3-11; 10:9-13; Titus 3:5-7).
-
As we walk in the light of God’s word and the Holy Spirit, we are continually cleansed by the blood, the Word, and the Spirit. (1 John 1:7-9; Romans 8:12).
-
We need to grow in maturity (1 Peter 2:1, 2; Col. 1:28, 29). We fight in God’s power against temptation, endure persecution, and add moral excellence (2 Peter 1:3-11). We develop in humanity and love (Phil. 2:5-16).
-
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23). We shall live in the city of gold. (Revelation 21:18-21).
